Feeding
On our farm, our cattle are fed exclusively with fresh green forage. Through a carefully planned grazing management system, we ensure that our animals consume ecologically pure and nutrient-rich feed.
The extensive pastures of the Hortobágy National Park, rich in natural nutrients, offer ideal conditions. This natural environment not only promotes the health of the cattle but also contributes to the development of an intense flavor and deep meat color.
Natural Husbandry
Our commitment to treating animals with respect and care is directly reflected in the quality of the meat. Extensive rearing conditions allow our cattle to grow slowly and evenly, enabling the natural accumulation of flavor compounds. Animal welfare and freedom are at the heart of our philosophy.
Slaughter Age and Stress-Free Processing
Meat from animals slaughtered too young cannot provide the desired depth of flavor, as complex aromas develop only in fully matured animals. For this reason, we slaughter our cattle at around two years of age.
Our primary goal during slaughter is to eliminate stress and adhere to the highest animal welfare standards. This ensures not only the well-being of the animals but also the highest meat quality.
Aging
The full flavor that steak enthusiasts cherish is unlocked during the aging process. Enzymes and proteins break down the meat structure, resulting in an intense taste and a tender, juicy texture.
We prefer the “wet aging” method, where the meat matures in vacuum-sealed conditions. This technique produces exceptionally tender and juicy meat that meets even the highest culinary expectations.
